During the Spring Make Festival at the Museum of Science and Industry Chicago, Helios Visions’ drone captured 3D reality scan of the Museum of Science and Industry is being 3D printed by at large scale piece by piece by Dynamism in the Make Shop exhibit.
“Each day a new piece of the MSI will be added to the growing model. By the end of the Spring Make Festival, a full 3D-printed model of the MSI will be complete!” – Museum of Science and Industry
The 3D model of the museum was created by Helios Visions using hundreds of photos of the building captured using automated drone mapping technology.
The exhibit started in early March and ended Sunday, April 8, 2018.
